It won’t be long until Carnival Cruise Line’s new cruise ship debuts, and the cruise line is cooking up something new for guests to enjoy while on board. The brand new Oktoberfest-inspired seasonal beer brewed on board will be unique to everyone.
Beer is being brewed on the new carnival ship
When young Carnival celebration begins sailing from Miami, Florida, in November, guests can enjoy the all-new Oktoberfest-inspired seasonal beer brewed by the ship’s Brew Master, Michael Deichstetter.
Deichstetter has already finished the first batch of the new beer, known as Festbier, a popular choice during October. The new beer is based on traditional German lager and has melon and strawberry flavors with a traditional golden finish.
It’s just the beginning of specially brewed beer on board Carnival celebration. Deichstetter, who has been brewing for 15 years, and his team are planning more unique special options for guests to drink in the future.
of Carnival celebration will also offer beers already found in other ships of the fleetincluding ThirstyFrog Caribbean Wheat, new ParchedPig Beach Lagerand Carnival Birthday Beer, which the cruise line announced in August 2022.
Carnival Cruise Line Brewery
Carnival Cruise Line will now have five breweries on board, including the new one Carnival celebration. Other ships that also have a brewery are Carnival Vista, Carnival horizonPanorama of Carnivals, and Mardi Gras.
North America’s first brewery at sea was introduced aboard Carnival Vista in 2016. The ship features the RedFrog Pub & Brewery, where guests can even look through large windows to see the process happening.
The brewery features 4,000-pound glass vats and large machines that make unique beers a reality on board. Since from Carnival horizonthe brewery is featured as part of Guy’s hugely popular specialty restaurant Pig and Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse | The beer house.
ABOUT Carnival celebration, Pig Anchor, along with the brewery, will be located on deck 8 aft. Guests will be able to enjoy a selection of craft beers. The place will be open for breakfast, lunch on sea days and dinner.
Not much to wait!
Following a maiden transatlantic crossing from Southampton, the new Carnival cruise ship will debut on November 21 from the cruise line’s newly upgraded Terminal F in PortMiami, Florida. The Excel-class ship will sail seven- and eight-day itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
Passengers will have more than just specially brewed beers to enjoy, such as never-before-seen entertainment shows, BOLT roller coasters and six different themed zones. The cruise line is even bringing the inspiration of its port on board Miami-inspired tropical martinis at Bar 820.
Before the ship sails, there will be a naming ceremony on November 20 in Miami recently announced godmother Cassidy Gifforddaughter of Kathie Lee Gifford, who was godmother to the original Celebration M/S cruise ship in 1987.
Carnival celebration it’s part of the new LNG-powered Excel class and it’s hugely popular sibling Mardi Gras based out of Port Canaveral, Florida. The new ship has a gross tonnage of 183,522 and a passenger capacity of 5,374 with double frequency.
