We are only a few months away from sailing on the new board Carnival celebration as well as enjoying Carnival Cruise Line’s 50th birthday celebrations and the cruise line has released new details about the upcoming ship! From Cloud 9 Spa to Loft 19 and Serenity Adults-Only Retreat, there will be plenty of places to relax on board according to a press release issued by the cruise line.
“While every Carnival ship has places to relax, we took all the fan favorites from across our fleet and brought them to Carnival celebration to make it the best space to relax and enjoy your vacation,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “From our renowned Cloud 9 Spa and adults-only areas to new spaces designed just for relaxation, there will be nothing like feeling pampered while enjoying the endless views and atmosphere of the ocean. Cloud 9 Spa
Located on decks 5 and 6, Cloud 9 Spa offers traditional spa services such as massages, facials, stone therapy, body wraps and acupuncture; as well as a hydrotherapy pool, steam rooms and a post-treatment relaxation room for guests to linger and sip a cup of herbal tea.
Cloud 9 Spa also has an extensive fitness center with the latest cardio and weight training equipment to cater for all fitness levels and a wide range of instructor-led exercise classes. The salon offers hair, barber and grooming services, as well as special manicure and pedicure stations.
Attic 19
Located on the top deck, Loft 19 is a new retreat-style experience first introduced in Mardi Gras. The space includes full bar service, an infinity whirlpool, wraparound loungers and spacious private cabanas available for day or trip rentals.

Private cabanas include Loft 19 attendants to assist with guest needs, linens, lunch delivery, cold towels and fresh fruit. Guests staying in Carnival Excel level suites can enjoy complimentary access to Loft 19 and receive priority cabana reservations.
Quiet retreat for adults only
As the name would imply, Serenity Adult-Only Retreat is a child-free (21+) space found on deck 18 with a bar, pool and plenty of peace and quiet for guests looking to unwind.
