Carnival Reveals Relaxation & Wellness Spaces Onboard Celebration

Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet may be known as “Fun Ships,” but that doesn’t mean guests can’t find places to kick back and relax. At Carnival Party, the ship’s Cloud 9 Spa and Loft 19 will allow them to do just that.

“While every Carnival ship has places to relax, we took all the fan-favorite shapes in our fleet and brought them to Carnival Celebration to make it the ultimate space to relax and enjoy your vacation,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. . “From our popular Cloud 9 spaces and adult-only areas to new spaces designed just for lounging, there will be nothing like feeling pampered while enjoying endless ocean views and vibes at the Feast of Carnival.”

Like most of the rest of the fleet, Carnival Celebration will feature the line’s signature Cloud 9 Spa (decks 5 and 6). The spa will have a hydrotherapy pool, steam rooms and a post-treatment relaxation room for guests to linger and enjoy herbal tea. Spa treatments will include massages, facials, stone therapy, body treatments and acupuncture, among others.

Cloud 9 Spa will also have a full-service salon and an extensive fitness center.

Attic 19
Located on the ship’s highest deck, Loft 19 is a premium drag-style space first introduced at Mardi Gras. Loft 19 includes full bar service, an infinity whirlpool, sun loungers and private cabanas, available for rent by the day or for a full trip. Cabanas come with Loft 19 attendant service, plush robes, lunch delivery, chilled towels and fresh fruit.

Guests staying in Excel level suites receive complimentary access to Loft 19 and priority cabin reservations.

Quiet retreat for adults only
Carnival’s popular fleet-wide Serenity Retreat is open to guests 21 and older and features full bar service, a pool and two hot tubs.

In addition to the pool at Serenity Retreat, guests can take a dip in the courtyard pool at Summer Landing and the tidal pool at Lido. Havana room and suite guests also have exclusive access to the Havana pool.

Carnival Celebration is scheduled to debut Nov. 21 at PortMiami. The ship’s highlights include six themed areas, including several spaces designed to celebrate Carnival’s 50 years in business. The ship is also home to the BOLT line’s second roller coaster.

It is Carnival’s second ship to be powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
