John Badman|Telegraph Carnival Employees of Luehrs’ Ideal Rides put on the Dizzy Dragons children’s ride at Alton’s Riverfront Park on Tuesday morning. A carny’s life is a mobile one, and the end of one setup is the beginning of another. Luehrs just finished providing rides for the Bethalto Homecoming that ended Monday night. After that, it was torn down and settled for the Alton Expo this week. Workers have just two days to complete their work before the Alton Expo opens at 5pm on Thursday. The exhibition runs from Thursday to Sunday with rides starting on Thursday and Friday at 5pm and Saturday and Sunday at 1pm All rides will be one ticket per ride on Thursday and Sunday.

ALTON – Luehrs’ Ideal Rides Carnival employees began setting up the Dizzy Dragons children’s ride at Alton’s Riverfront Park Tuesday morning.
A carny’s life is a mobile one, and the end of one setup is the beginning of another. Luehrs just finished providing carnival rides for Bethalto Homecoming, which ended Monday night. After that, it was torn down and settled for the Alton Expo this week.
Workers have just two days to complete their work at Riverfront Park before the Alton Expo opens at 5pm on Thursday. The Expo runs Thursday through Sunday, with rides starting Thursday and Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m.
All journeys will be one ticket only on Thursday and Sunday.
