Carnival to benefit Facing Autism | News, Sports, Jobs

An evening of carnival games and foam play is planned for Friday night to raise money for Facing Autism Inc.

But organizers emphasize that this event is not just for those on the autism spectrum and their families. It is open to everyone in the community.

It will begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Iowa Central Community College East campus at 2031 Quail Ave.

Admission is $5 per student and one nonperishable food item per adult.

There will be a variety of carnival games and social drumming. The evening will end with an opportunity to play in glitter foam. There will be concessions and prizes awarded.

The event is sponsored by Central Iowa Community College and Duck King Fun, of Fort Dodge.

The money raised from this event will pay for future Facing Autism Inc. events and projects.
