If you’re just thinking about doing whatever makes you thirsty, then you’re in luck, because the company has now announced that it has a special drink in store that will make its debut on Celebration’s first cruise.

The brewery on board Carnival Celebrations has something new in store

Carnival fans celebrate the launch of the Festa with the company’s new Oktoberfest-inspired seasonal beer, which will be brewed right on board the ship.

Carnival Fests brewmaster Michael Deichstetter has finished a batch of a beer known as Festbier, which the company describes as “a traditional German lager, light-bodied and golden in color, with notes of melon and strawberry and a clean finish.” Sounds great!

Deichstetter, who is 15 years deep in the beer game, says more special beers are coming as he and his team have some ideas in development. Celebration will be Carnival’s fifth ship with its own brewery on board.

Well, of course there is a hard seltzer

Look, you’re going to be on a ship. You will relax around the pool.

If the idea of a cold one sounds great, but you’re worried about carbs because you want to show off your abs, don’t worry. Of course, the carnival also has its own strong seltzer.

While the drink — usually a combination of vodka, seltzer waters and fruit flavors — has become so popular that many haters insist the trend is over, people still dig them.

As such, Carnival recently unveiled two new seltzers to enjoy at sea, in collaboration with ThirstyFrog, which is part of the Carnival Brews family. Both drinks are vodka-based drinks and are only 99 calories per 12-ounce can.

  • ThirstyFrog Piña Colada Hard Seltzer – Said to have hints of pineapple and coconut, so very tropical.
  • Hibiscus ThirstyFrog Berry – It’s a mix of berries and a touch of hibiscus, which also sounds tropical.
