The on-site hiring event features open interviews and activities for the whole family
Come one, come all to Catholic Health’s first-ever Career Carnival on Saturday, October 15, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its administrative and regional training center, located at 144 Genesee St., Buffalo.
A press release said: “For anyone looking to start or grow their career in healthcare, Catholic Health managers and recruiters will be on hand to accept applications, conduct private interviews and make job offers at place to speed up the hiring process.
During the Career Carnival, open interviews will be held for clinical and non-clinical positions in a variety of fields, including nursing (RN, LPN, CNA), imaging, respiratory therapy, laboratory, accounting, patient registration, health information management, talent acquisition, clinical education, IT and billing.
As a bonus to this event, the first 15 individuals hired as night shift critical care RNs at Mercy Hospital will earn a $30,000 retention bonus. Other positions may qualify for a retention bonus of up to $25,000. Referral bonuses of up to $5,000 are also available to anyone who successfully recommends a candidate who is hired for a bonus-eligible position throughout Catholic Health.
Referral bonus varies by position and is prorated for part-time employment.
The press release stated, “During the interview, there will be free activities and refreshments for your family, including face painting, pumpkin decorating, a prize wheel, cider and donuts, inflatable Skee-Ball, ring toss and games giant. A food truck will also be available to purchase other food items.”
