The Chinese Ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago, Fan Qiu, extended greetings to the people of Trinidad and Tobago for the Chinese New Year of the Rabbit.
In a statement, the ambassador said that he expects a continuation of favorable relations between the two countries.
“On the occasion of the auspicious Chinese New Year of the Rabbit, I wish to extend my warmest wishes and best wishes to members of the Chinese community and friends from all walks of life in Trinidad and Tobago.
“The last year of 2022 was of great importance for both countries.
“In 2022, the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China successfully convened, drawing up a plan for building China into a modern socialist country in all aspects and advancing the great renewal of the Chinese nation in all areas. fronts through a Chinese road to modernization.

“I am proud of the strong commitment of Chinese enterprises in Trinidad and Tobago to maintain the smooth construction of major projects such as PPIE and the Tobago International Airport.
