Blueface is in a bitter feud with his mother, who accused him of “prostituting” Chrisean Rock.
When you’re a rapper, it’s hard to keep your business private, even if it’s a personal family business. The latest example is Blueface and his mother, Karlissa Safford, taking to social media in the early hours of this morning (August 9).
It all started after the rapper’s mother claimed he was dating Chrisean Rock. A claim he has vehemently denied. The Stop Cappin’ rapper took to Instagram to not only deny the allegations, but to try and explain his mother’s behavior.
“I don’t even know that lady anymore, I lost her from the internet. she just wants to be recognized for doing her hair for free. she’s not even in the mood to see her grandkids because she lost herself on instagram and no one wants to be in a mix with her,” reads part of his message.
Now, it seems that Chrisean Rock himself has jumped into the mix and also condemned Safford’s statement, although it was for a different reason. According to her, Safford doesn’t care about Blueface. She made the statement just days after the rapper gifted Jaidyn Alexis with a new chain, so it seems she has no reason to lie.
Chrisean Rock also supported Blueface’s claim that his mother is seeking social media attention and couldn’t care less about her son.
“They all folded into one truth. He’s hard to heal because of you… you were supposed to be da mova but instead you turned into an outsider and all your pride got in the way you didn’t know how to stay true.”
She added that she believed that his mother was feeding on his pain for power and that the rapper “Thotiana” does not even understand how much trauma he is going through because of her. She added that she hoped Blueface would wake up and love the people in his life who actually love him.
Although she had a positive message for him, she also made sure she got a photo with Blueface welcoming a new baby with Jaidyn Alexis and the chain he gave her.
Safford also tried to give her side of things, which began by mocking Blueface after she called him a poor baby, who she said she suspected was going soft.

Further in response, she continues to throw shade at the rapper as she adds that he was supposed to be a gangster. Her post was also sprinkled with crying and laughing emojis.
She even goes so far as to tell the rapper to soak it up and focus on his game instead of the drama, as she added, “If you can’t see the pass, run the ball yourself. Money turned you into followers! There’s no guarantee this weirdo won’t screw it up like you did, then you’ll be sitting there looking stupid.”
On Monday, August 8, Safford not only claimed that Rock was being prostituted, but that someone had sent Rock back to Blueface knowing she would be in danger. Among her claims was that Rock would eventually be dumped by the rapper when things got too volatile.
She also compared their relationship to the ill-fated one between Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. It’s sad to see so much dirty laundry being aired on social media and it doesn’t look like it’s going to be resolved anytime soon.
