CLEMSON, SC – Clemson United has earned the No. 1 spot in each of college football’s three major rankings this week. For the third straight week, the 4-0 Tigers were the top-ranked team by United Soccer Coaches, Top Drawer Soccer and College Soccer News.
Clemson has started its 2022 season on a high note, defeating then-No. 13 Indiana 3-2 in the opener. The Tigers then blanked USC Upstate 2-0 before picking up their ninth straight win over South Carolina. Most recently, Clemson took care of business at home on Tuesday in a 4-0 win over UNC Asheville.
Ousmane Sylla has led the way for the Tigers, scoring three goals and providing four assists over the four games. He and Mohamed Seye have combined to be a force, as Seye has assisted all three of Sylla’s goals and has two of his own.
The Tigers begin their ACC slate Saturday at Boston College. Kick-off is set for 19:00 with the match scheduled to be broadcast on ACCNX.
