CLEMSON, SC – The No. 8 Clemson Tigers will face fourth-seeded Wake Forest on Wednesday night in the ACC semifinals. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on the ACC Network.

The Tigers enter the game 12-5-1 (3-4-1 ACC) after four straight wins over UMass, NC State, Notre Dame and Duke. The Tigers defeated the previously unbeaten Blue Devils on Sunday by a final score of 2-0. They advanced to their 10th ACC semifinal in coach Mike Noonan’s 13th season.

Sunday marks the 54th meeting between the conference foes and the second of the season with Wake Forest leading the series 20-25-8. The Demon Deacons lead in all-time scoring 84-71. The two teams met earlier this season at Historic Riggs Field, where No. 1 Demon Deacons beat Clemson 6-1.

Tigers standout Ousmane Sylla has led the way for Clemson, scoring five goals and dishing out six assists. He has a point in eight of his 15 games played this season and is sixth in the ACC in points per game (1.07).

He is joined atop Clemson’s scoring charts by senior forward Mohamed Seye, who has assisted on three of Sylla’s goals. He has added four of his own and also has four points in two games, bringing his season total to 14. He and Sylla are both tied for fourth most assists in the conference with six.

Wake Forest enters the match 14-4-0 and earned its spot in the semifinals with a 1-0 win over Virginia Tech.
