The smell of popcorn and the sounds of fair play will be in the air tomorrow afternoon as the annual Kiwanis Coin Carnival returns.
Beginning at 1 p.m., the event will be featured in Riverside Park as a celebration of the City of Swift Current’s summer programs.
With the purchase of a coin throughout the day for $2, people can get a variety of carnival games, with each game awarding tickets to win prizes.
Mckenzie Acton of the City, said some of the exciting features throughout the day are face painting, games and a carnival themed concession.
Acton added that the concession will have snow cones, popcorn, bags of candy and ice cream, all priced from 25 cents to $1 each.
According to Maddy McCleary of the City, the lively event is a way to recognize local businesses and organizations in our community.
