The promise of medicinal cannabis has not been fully fulfilled in Colombia as the suspension of funding for master preparations by the previous government places barriers for Colombians to access these products through the Health Benefits Plan (PBS), putting pressure on the sector’s finances and pushed patients “into illegality,” Zerenia clinic vice president of regulatory affairs Juan Diego Álvarez said in an interview with Bloomberg Línea.
