Deborah L Cannon, President of CUSA, LLC said the company is excited to be part of this important addition to Tobago’s tourism community.

“We are committed to providing exceptional service, exceeding expectations, delivering ‘experiences that stay with you,’ and being the premier lodging facility that the entire community can be proud of and support,” said Cannon.

Maria Yip-John, General Manager, Comfort Inn & Suites Tobago said the team is looking forward to showcasing true Tobagonian hospitality.

“Our relationships with local farmers and suppliers ensure that the island of Tobago will really benefit from this new project as we look to merge our culture with traditional hotel offerings. We look forward to warmly welcoming all of our guests to the new Comfort Inn & Suites,” she said.

Allan Richards, Chairman of Towers Hospitality Group Limited said, “Towers is now poised to further contribute to Tobago’s economy by adding high quality rooms, which we understand are key to achieving the critical mass required for Tobagonians to benefit from ongoing public investment in the island, such as the development of new sports and cultural facilities, as well as the expansion of the airport.

During construction, over 200 local workers were regularly employed, and now open, the hotel directly employs around 60 workers.

The hotel will establish rewarding relationships with providers of food, transportation, entertainment and other tourism-related activities.
