Elaine Thompson-Herah repeated her Olympic sprint double as she won gold in the 200m at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. The 28-year-old Jamaican, who already took the 100m crown in Birmingham, finished ahead of Nigeria’s Favor Ofili and Namibia’s Christ. Meanwhile, Australia passed the 150-medal mark on Day 9, even as England continued to chase hard. It was 154 to 146 on Saturday.
