Confusion in celebration of Flamengo in downtown Rio has more than 30 injured

A party by fans of Rio’s soccer club Flamengo in downtown Rio ended in confusion early in the afternoon on Sunday, November 13.

Riots began around 1:00 p.m. and a general fight took over Presidente Antônio Carlos street. According to the Municipal Secretariat of Health, “around 30 people have been admitted to the emergency unit with various injuries due to the event”.

Employees of the State Police fired bombs with a morale effect during the riots. . .
