The NYPD has released video of a suspect believed to be behind a shooting in Brooklyn that left four people injured over the weekend.
Police say at 8:11 p.m. on July 17, an unknown man fired a gun multiple times at the southeast corner of Livonia Avenue and Rockaway Avenue, striking four people before fleeing in an unknown direction.
Upon arrival, officers found a 24-year-old man who had been shot in the torso and a 59-year-old man who had been shot in the leg. Both victims were taken by paramedics to Brookdale Hospital. Police also found a 16-year-old with a gunshot wound to the head – the teenager was taken to Maimonides Hospital by paramedics.
All three victims are listed in stable condition. A fourth victim, a 34-year-old man, was later found with a graze wound to his back, but he refused medical attention.
The suspect was first seen on surveillance footage at 7:00 PM riding a scooter in front of 65 Sackman Street. The NYPD released video and photos of the suspect on July 20:
The suspect is described as a man with a dark complexion, a thin build and a large, dark Afro. He was last seen wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, a black hooded sweatshirt with several patches and sneakers.
