Costumes, candy and carnival games combine at Chandler’s Halloween Spooktacular, Oct. 28

CHANDLER, Ariz. Gather your ghosts, goblins and little superheroes and get ready for the annual Halloween Spooktacular! Dr. AJ Chandler Park – Stage Plaza in downtown Chandler will be transformed into a fang-tastic party on Friday, October 28 from 5:30-8:30pm Admission is free.

Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes and participate in the park’s fun-filled activities.

Halloween Spooktacular highlights include:

  • Costume parade on the catwalk – Show off your Halloween best at the costume parade. Boos and ghouls of all ages are encouraged to participate. No registration is required and all walkers aged 12 and under will receive a special lighted souvenir. The parade starts promptly at 18:15 and again at 19:30
  • Trunk-or-Treat A Halloween party isn’t complete without lots of candy. Spooktacular’s Trunk-or-Treat features multiple candy stations with more than 300 pounds. of fraudulent treatments. Be sure to bring a bag to carry your Halloween haul!
  • Carnival Games – Exciting shots fill the park giving party-goers the chance to win unforgettable prizes. Be sure to visit favorites like The spooky prize wheel, musical tombstones, pumpkin sack races and inflatable ax throwing.
  • Halloween Dance Party – Things are sure to get bumpy in the night as monsters of all ages mash up the beats of Halloween.

Halloween Spooktacular is presented by the City of Chandler in partnership with the Chandler Lions Club and Waste Management.

Dr. AJ Chandler Park – Stage Plaza is located at 178 E. Commonwealth Place.

Free parking for this event is available on the east side of Arizona Avenue, including the City Hall Parking Garage (Chicago and Washington streets), the Johnathan Parking Garage (Buffalo and Washington streets) or the Alexander Parking Garage (Boston and Washington streets) .
