CPL stars at National Racquet Centre

Jamaica Tallawahs stars Chris Green and Migael Pretorious have visited the National Racket Center in Tacarigua, Trinidad.

The Sports Company of Trinidad and Tobago (SportTT) in a media statement stated that both Green and Pretorious had the opportunity to meet and play against local youth players Jordane Dookie and Kale Dalla Costa.

In addition, Caribbean Premier League host Tanvi Shah, who is a former professional tennis player, has also played some tennis at the National Racquet Centre.

Green and Pretorious were part of the Tallawahs side that thrashed Barbados Royals by six runs (DLS Method) on Thursday at Queen’s Park Oval.

Green and Royals shortstop Shamarh Brooks was also pictured golfing at Millennium Lakes Golf and Country Club in Trinicity on Thursday.

The annual CPL match in Trinidad began on Tuesday, with Friday as a rest day for the teams.

Action resumes on Saturday with defending champions St Kitts and Nevis Patriots taking on St Lucia Kings at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy from 10am.

In the second match at 7pm, Green and Pretorious will be in action as Tallawahs take on Trinbago Knight Riders.

The National Missile Center opened in September 2016 in Tacarigua, north of Trinidad.
