Crimson Continues to Roll with an 8-1 Day-Two of Fall World Series

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Day two of the Alabama World Series of Baseball ended again in favor of the Crimson team, this time by a score of 8-1.

Alton Davis II highlighted the Crimson team’s effort on the mound. Davis II threw 4.0 innings of scoreless baseball allowing just one hit. Braylon Myers was also solid in his outing, ending the night for the Crimson with three strikeouts in 1.0 innings of work. Seven of the nine starters for the Crimson contributed at least one run Tommy Seidl two total as part of a 3-for-4 performance. Seidl also led the Crimson in hits and RBIs.

Alabama will return to the diamond tomorrow morning for the final game of the Fall World Series. First pitch of Saturday’s final is set for 11:30 a.m. CT. Day three will begin with the Crimson holding the edge as all three days of the FWS act as one continuous game.

Admission to the Alabama Baseball World Series is free to the public. Fans are asked to enter Sewell-Thomas Stadium through the main gates (Gates 1-3) located directly behind home plate. Once inside, fans must stand in the lower bowl seating area with entry strictly prohibited to the upper levels of the stadium.
