One of the biggest bets of fashion trends this spring-summer 2022 is definitely cut. Fresh and versatile piece, with several look options for all possible occasions. Even more so for this time of year, when the events begin to appear. This part is not new, it has already conquered generations in the fashion department. The crop top first appeared in the 1930s and 1940s, when it was used in conjunction with high-waisted midi skirts to enhance the silhouette.
After that, it was worn alongside high-waisted hot pants. A big trend during the 1950s and 1960s. Already in the 80s it was used by people capable of a healthier life who liked to exercise. Both men and women.
Since 1990, crops are adopted by a new generation. This was, of course, influenced by popular female groups at the time, such as the Spicy Girls. They influenced a whole generation of youth at that time in various aspects, one of them being fashion.
