MSC Cruises announces MSC World America

MSC Cruises is building another ship coming to America.

Steel was cut yesterday for MSC World America, which will be the second in the world-class LNG-powered line. The steel cutting ceremony also served as the handover ceremony for the first ship in the class, MSC World Europe, which is scheduled to enter guest service this December.

Many elements of MSC World America it will be the same as world europe, but some will be tailored for the North American market.

MSC World America it will be 22 decks long and have 2,600 guest cabins. It is scheduled to debut in 2025.

Carnival offers a glimpse into the new Italian experience

Carnival is giving a glimpse of what its two Costa-branded ships will look like.

Venice Carnival AND Florence Carnival both will get new paint jobs that reflect the vibrancy of the carnival and take on some of the carnival experiences.

Speaking about the partnership, Carnival President Christine Duffy said: “Like their Carnival sisters, entertainment will be at the heart of Venice Carnival AND Florence Carnival, but they will also have a unique experience – including the spectacular Italian atmosphere and the rich culture they embody.”

Venice Beach is the first ship to arrive at Carnival next spring when it sails from Manhattan, followed by Costa Florence in 2024, debuting in Long Beach.

The Real Love Boat airs Wednesdays at 9/8 central and is also streaming on Paramount+.
