Crypto Isle, Kanoo Pays and Draper University have partnered to launch the Kanoo Innovation Hub, a startup accelerator focused on the Blockchain, Web3 and Crypto sectors.
Kanoo Innovation Hub, is on a mission to find, fund and foster founders, developers and innovative Caribbean corporations that create next-generation solutions. Hub takes Caribbean startups from seed round to exit.
Led by Nicholas Rees Chairman and Co-Founder of Kanoo Pays and Davinia Bain, Co-Founder of Crypto Isle, the Kanoo Innovation Hub has a 3-pronged Caribbean accelerator approach. It starts with an entry-level Innovation Startup Program at USD 490*, a duration of four weeks Pre-Rash costing US$4,000, then a 5-week Silicon Valley immersion program costing US$12,000.
Kanoo Pays (“Kanoo”), is considered the first licensed payment institution in the world to achieve integration, interoperability and secure Central Bank Digital Currency (“CBDC”) payment processing. Kanoo is said to be the Caribbean’s leading super app offering an integrated digital marketplace and digital wallet experience.
Crypto Isle, is a co-working space and community that has been developing a thriving ecosystem for nearly a year now that is for smart, efficient and blockchain-infused businesses. Crypto Isle was also the personal event partner for SiliconCaribe’s Caribbean Future of Money Conference last December.
The Kanoo Innovation Hub joins what we call the second wave of industry-focused Startup Accelerators in the Caribbean.
