A 38-year-old Jennings man is now in police custody after allegedly launching a machete attack on another man in Jolly Harbor on Sunday.
The victim was left with a fractured skull.
The two men were reportedly working on a house in the area when they became involved in two separate altercations.
It is known that the 38-year-old man waved the gun and caused another person a cut wound on the head.
The police have seized the weapon while the investigation continues. (State media)
