The Outdoors Club will be having our first meeting of the year Wednesday in the room of Mr. Blakeslee F139, just behind the school. The Outdoors Club calendar for 2022-23 is packed with adventures: hiking, kayaking, spelunking, ziplining and more. All experience levels are invited to join, from “indoorsy” types to full-on mountain men. We’ll be hitting the trails soon, with our first hike in the Jefferson Memorial Forest on August 27th. There is a whole world out there to discover; join the Outdoor Club to get outside and explore!
Are you interested in business subjects such as accounting, computers, economics, statistics, technology or marketing? Future Business Leaders of America will hold its first organizational meeting in T318 right after school tomorrow. Looking to learn a new game this year? Then, join the Cricket club. No prior knowledge of the game is needed. This game will be played in the Shamrock Hall, after school on Monday. If you are interested, you can register as soon as possible with Mr. CM in room F332. The first meeting will be today.

Students, if you think a career in architecture, engineering or construction work may be in your future, then ACE is just for you. What is ACE? The ACE Mentorship Program provides students with an opportunity to collaborate and learn from professionals in the design and construction field. Experts will share valuable tips and skills on what it takes to succeed. You will also complete an actual project and have the opportunity to make good contacts and earn scholarship money at the end of the process. If you are interested in learning more about ACE then please see Mr. CM in F332. Also, those students who were in the program last year must reconfirm their interest by registering again. The ACE Club will meet every Wednesday, and the first meeting will be early next month.
Are you interested in flying, airplanes and flight simulators? Then you might consider joining Tim’s Flying Club. The club will meet every other Thursday throughout the year. If interested, sign up with Mr. CM in room F332 after school.
Look around you. Are you surrounded by a world full of electronics? But how does it all work? Want to gain more knowledge on this topic? If so, sign up for the Electronics Club with Mr. CM in F332. This hands-on club includes activities such as joining, removing components and assembling small circuits for various applications, and in the process you can learn some of the basics of electricity and electronics. This club will meet every Tuesday.
Attention all Trinity Skiers and Snowboarders: The Trinity Ski and Snowboard Club is back and ready for action! If you enjoy doing all the things your parents told you not to do as a child, like starting fights and running around with sharp objects, then you should consider joining Trinity’s new Fencing Club next year . Fencing is a competitive sport with a tradition that goes back centuries. As well as being a full body workout, fencing teaches you how to think on your feet, trust your instincts and stay calm under pressure. If you are interested in learning more about Trinity Fencing, the first meeting for the club will be after school at Thursday in Mr. Napper’s room, F334. No experience is necessary and everyone is welcome.
Athletics:
Join Trinity’s KHSAA Bowling Team. We are a competitive sport, not cutthroat. Come build basic skills in lane patterns, ball catching, release timing and lane approach. Be part of a competitive team that competes each year for a spot in the KY State Bowling Tournament. An informational meeting will be held today at 3:00 pm in room S-352. Anyone interested in participating in fall volunteer baseball practice should attend an organizational meeting tomorrow at 3:30. The match will take place at Trinity Stadium/Voll Field. Parents are welcome to attend and bring a pen and paper for notes. Anyone participating in fall volunteer workouts must have a KHSAA athletic physical on file in the athletic office to be eligible to participate.
