Kale Dalla Costa has won the singles crown at the Central American and Caribbean Confederation (COTECC) Carnival Cup at the National Racquet Center, Tacarigua.
The teenager from Trinidad and Tobago defeated Barbadian Aidan Clarke in the final 6-0, 6-0.
Dalla Costa also teamed up with fellow Trinidad and Tobago player Aaron Subero to beat Clarke and Canada’s Xavier Hastick 6-2 4-6 (10-7) to claim the doubles crown.
Dalla Costa also won the singles and doubles crowns at the Sagicor International Junior Tour in St Lucia last weekend.
In the girls’ doubles final, Brianna Harricharan teamed up with Hanne Estrade to beat Em-Miryam Campbell-Smith and Fernanda Marin 6-0, 6-4.
