Last night’s Monday Night Football was an epic matchup between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs entered the game with a 3-1 record as the Raiders looked to improve on their 1-3 season. With the Raiders acquiring Davante Adams in the offseason, fans speculated that it was only a matter of time before the Raiders took off this season.

Davante Adams Pushes Cameraman After Raiders Lose to Chiefs, Twitter Turns to Personal Injury Stand-Up Special

If the Raiders’ season kicked off for a Super Bowl season last night, it didn’t end up being the starting point fans were hoping for. The one-point loss to the Chiefs left Raiders fans confused especially after a failed two-point conversion when a simple field goal would have given them an extra chance at survival. As you can imagine, tempers ran high after the loss, prompting a fired-up Davante Adams to push a cameraman to the ground on his way to the locker room.

After going to the locker room and realizing what he did, Adams apologized to reporters who were eager to ask about his actions. Plus, the realization of a possible fine or suspension can help the reality set in quickly. Adams even took to Twitter to apologize for the push.

Of course, even with his sincere apology, Twitter users quickly turned into personal injury lawyers and couldn’t wait to take the jokes down. If there’s one thing you can count on, it’s Twitter turning up at Def Comedy Jam in the middle of the chaos.
