The Ministry of Education, Sustainable Development, Innovation, Science, Technology and Vocational Training would like to apologize to all its stakeholders for the delay in the delivery of the Can do! Elementary Language Arts Student Books and Island Workbooks.
The delay is due to a temporary shutdown of publisher Macmillan Education’s IT systems and offices as a result of a cyber attack.
While the Ministry’s order was made many months before the attack, the company is having difficulty fulfilling the remaining orders.
The company has since provided the Ministry with an estimated delivery date of August 31, 2022. The Ministry, once again, apologizes for the delay and thanks its partners and the general public for their continued patience and understanding.
