Gunshot wound on public highway
A woman of about 30 years was found seriously injured, in cardiorespiratory arrest by the emergency services, at 2 o’clock this Sunday morning, rue Raspail, in Pointe-à-Pitre. She was lying on her stomach and had several bullet holes. The victim is believed to be from the Dominican Republic.
3 firefighters were sent to the scene on board a rescue and victim assistance vehicle (VSAV). The national police and the mobile emergency and resuscitation structure (SMUR) also went to the scene. Unfortunately, the SMUR doctor declared his death. The circumstances of the tragedy remain to be determined, while police investigations are underway.
Two wheeler accident
This Sunday morning at around 3am, a two-wheeler accident occurred on rue François Fresneau, in Jarry, Baie-Mahault.
The victim, a 23-year-old woman, is the only one involved. When paramedics arrived, she was in cardiorespiratory arrest. 4 firefighters were mobilized, among them 1 officer, as well as the gendarmerie and a mobile emergency and interhospital resuscitation structure. A crowd of people on the spot forced them to move with him, gestures of first aid were impossible to give.
After unsuccessful efforts for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and medical treatment, the SMUR doctor declared the death of the victim.
Lost in the woods
This Saturday, September 10, at 4:08 p.m., firefighters set out to search for a missing person in the forest at the top of Nez Cassé, in Saint-Claude.
