Today, the world superstar, producer and DJ Kygo Share your new album, Thrill Of The Chase, via RCA Records.
The artist’s first full-length work since its 2020 release The Golden Hour, Thrill Of The Chase is a collection of songs that chronicle Kygo’s career over the past few years, featuring his lush, piano-driven production, highlighting his penchant for genre experimentation.
Throughout the 14-track album, which features collaborations with X Ambassadors, DNCE, Luke Graham, Sam Feldt, Plested, Dean Lewis and others, Thrill Of The Chase features a range of lively singles with a touch of house and disco “Dancing Feet” e “fever” to moving and melodic ones “lost without you” e “Frozen”.
“Thrill Of The Chase is a collection of songs I’ve been working on over the last two years, which started during Covid and ended with sessions in Los Angeles,” he says. Kygo regarding departure. “I’ve had the chance to play or preview unreleased music throughout the year at shows and the feedback has been incredible. Some of the songs on ‘Thrill Of The Chase’ are unlike anything I’ve done in the past and I’m very excited for everyone to finally hear the album in its entirety.”
He recently performed in Life is Beautiful, Lollapalooza, BottleRock and a sold-out show at Ullevaal Stadiumin Oslo last month, Kygo gave straws from different groups of Thrill Of The Chase for fans during their headlining show at Madison Square Garden, in New York. Later this year, Kygo will hit the road for a South American tour, with select dates in São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Lima and more.
