Actress and director Mariana Lewis, only 17 years old, received the award for the best director for the series “Dr. Faustus” recorded last year in England. The series, directed and starred by her, also received the award for the best cinematography at the British WebAwards festival that took place last weekend in London, England.

At a young age, Mariana entered the prestigious Guildhall School of Dramatic Arts in London. She competed against 4,000 students at the UK’s most competitive secondary performing arts school, where Daniel Craig, Ewan McGregor and Orlando Bloom studied.
