Florida is currently going through a moment of hateful craziness regarding crawling.
Governor DeSantis recently filed a complaint against a Miami establishment that hosts a luncheon that allowed children, leaving out the whole “culture war” by saying the event was an attempt to “sexualize” children . (Now we’ll hold our breath until DeSantis sends a similar complaint to Hooters. Oops, we died.)
So that’s been on our minds, and protests at Drag Queen Story Hours in public libraries have been on our minds. What the right is breathlessly talking about procrastination is wrong and disingenuous; it’s a beautiful art form that’s both pop-culture pastiche at its wildest and all about the ecstasy of performance as liberation.
We assume all of this means the Catwalk Fight Tour will be at Plaza Live, with Drag Race stars including The Vivienne, Krystal Versace, Kita Mean, Kornbread, Priyanka, Kylie Sonique Love, Denali and Crystal Methyd. Make it sellable.
