The secretary-designate of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DNER), Anaís Rodríguez, reported on RADIO ISLA that DNER is waiting for the decisions of the courts and the Office of Management and Permits (OGPe) to implement the orders in the cases of Aguadilla, Salinas and Rincon.
According to Rodríguez, the OGPe should authorize the demolition of the construction at Cueva las Golondrinas in Aguadilla. Meanwhile, in the case of the pool that was being built at the Sol y Playa complex in Rincón, DNER is waiting for the decision of the Supreme Court so that it can tear down the wall.
Regarding the construction in Jobos Bay in Salinas, Rodríguez indicated that they are still awaiting the determination of the Court. “The courts have started their process. In the next three months we are seeking an order for the disclosure of evidence”, explained Anaís Rodríguiez.
