Duke Opens Fall Slate at Princeton 3-Mile Chase Sunday

DURHAM – The Duke rowing team opens the 2022 fall schedule at the Princeton 3-Mile Chase in Princeton, NJ on Sunday, November 6.

This will be the Blue Devils’ eighth appearance in the Princeton Chase since 2011. Duke’s last appearance in the race was in 2018 and resulted in three top-five finishes.

The team is set to compete in the Women’s 8+ event in a field of 60 participants from 16 different teams. Megan Lee, Lauren Sizemore AND Caeley Tierney lead the Blue Devils as this year’s captains.

Duke is led by the head coach Megan Cooke Carcagnoin her eighth season at the helm of the program. Chase Graham AND Kendall Schmidt remain as stable faces on the coaching staff and join them Micah Boyd, who returns as an assistant coach. Former Olympian and volunteer assistant coach Simon Carcagno he is joined in 2022 by a decorated Olympian Hamish Bondwho joins Duke as a volunteer coach this season.
