To honor America’s teachers who welcome students back to school — and to kick back in the fall, Dunkin’ has a free caffeine fix.
The national coffee and donut chain is offering educators one of its popular medium hot or iced coffees – free, on September 1st only.
“Who deserves a coffee break the most?” Dunkin’ announced on its website and social media pages. “We’re proud to recognize educators for their passion and dedication and help get them going for a coffee with us as we kick off a new school year.”

The only kicks: There is one per teacher (so bringing a few for the whole school meeting can be difficult). The deal is also limited while supplies last (assuming they don’t run out of coffee) and lines can be long.
The promotional move comes as a push to encourage teachers to use Dunkin’s social media channels – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok.
According to the company’s website, offers may not be valid in Metro New York City, among other non-participating locations. Cold beer and cold nitro beer are not included in the free offer.
Dunkin’ isn’t the only business offering teachers free coffee this month. Convenience store Wawa has an offer that runs through September for free coffees of any size for teachers, it announced last month.
