A surrounded Twitter really wants it billionaire suitor to complete this deal already.

Earlier this month, Twitter At last surrendered for Musk better –late –that he never complained about the proliferation of bots on the platform and provided him with a “firehole” of data. Apparently, that wasn’t enough to assuage Musk’s concerns. and now Twitter is said to be sending the billionaire even more user data.

This is what is said in a recent Insider report which claims Musk’s lawyers sent a letter on Twitter last week claiming the latest batch of data was “insufficient”. While the previous data RECITED including data on users’ tweets, as well as which devices those users posted from, the new installment goes further and is said to include real-time API data. That data, according to sources cited in the Insider report, constitutes a “data stream” of Tweets and other activity on the platform typically reserved for certain developers. The insider claims that Musk was unhappy with the first round of historical data because, his the team claimed, it it was unable to perform his own tests to detect potentially inauthentic accounts. Twitter reportedly relented and submitted the new data earlier this week.

Twitter had originally resisted giving Musk the first round of data, but eventually fell behind Musk accused the company of “active resistance and obstruction of his information rights”.

Twitter did not immediately respond to our request for comment.

For those who haven’t been keeping up, Musk’s sudden interest in the Twitter bot problem (an issue known from the many people who have plagued the platform for years) lies directly in the center of Musk’s supposed efforts to renegotiate its $44 billion Buying Twitter for a lower price. Musk initially agreed PURCHASE Twitter for $44 billion, but since then Twitter’s value, along with many other technology firmsthere are fallen significantly. Last month, Musk called bot problem, saying the deal was “temporarily on hold” pending more details about the true percentage of fake accounts circulating on the platform. If Musk determines the numbers exceed Twitter’s 5% estimate, some have suggested Musk could use that new information to negotiate a new deal at a lower price. Others meanwhile, I believe In fact Musk is still trying to find an easy way to get out of the deal entirely.

Twitter, on the other hand, seems increasingly interested in ending the damn thing. Twitter has repeatedly said it remains committed to reaching a deal with Musk. Earlier this week, the Twitter board unanimously is recommended for the company’s shareholders to vote to approve the deal.
