Elon Musk Begins Reinstating Banned Twitter Accounts And Confirms He’s Not Worried About Staff Quitting / Digital Information World

Amid a wide wave of resignations, billionaire Elon Musk is said to have started restoring banned Twitter accounts.

These are the accounts that were subject to a lifetime ban. Therefore, taking this decision is definitely proof of how he wants to start a much easier moderation through this app.

As revealed on Friday, those affected accounts belonged to names like celebrities Kathy Griffin and even Jordan Peterson. And now, it is believed that some of these accounts were facing a ban for misogyny of others. For example, we had Peterson send out controversial tweets mentioning how he was going to die and then delete his statements about Elliot Page.

As for comedian Kathy Griffin, she was banned 11 days ago for impersonating Musk himself and it was related to the upcoming midterm elections. During that time, Musk assured others that the comedian would be welcome soon, provided she paid the $8 fee for Twitter’s Blue Subscription.

At the moment, it is not very clear if more accounts would be restored and when they would be restored. Remember, former US President Donald Trump still won’t be allowed back on the app. This is despite the fact that he has recently announced his bid to regain his presidency. So, at the moment, the decision related to Trump’s ban has not been confirmed as revealed by Musk recently.

All these news coming out of Twitter have made us understand an important aspect. It is very contradictory what Musk says and what he does. At the beginning, he mentioned that content moderation tips will be created and it will be very diverse. He also said that their decision will be the final decision. But now, it will automatically reset the accounts. Today he did not mention which council is looking at the decisions.

The news comes at a time when we are seeing Twitter enter a major crisis. Thousands of workers were initially laid off and now thousands are choosing to quit. And the way things are going, we’re seeing the workforce cut in half.

Some of the departures have been big. And this is what has led to great chaos in the firm. Yesterday, Musk sent an email to all staff members about how the office would be closed for all software engineers. And those who wrote it had to report to the 10th floor.

On the other hand, we saw Elon Musk boldly mention how he was not worried for people leaving the organization. He assured the world that he has the best team by his side and that only the best are chosen to serve.

When people asked Elon Musk on Twitter what exactly the issue was and why so many employees were resigning en masse, he replied that he wasn’t too concerned. Instead, he claims that only the best are supposed to stay, and that’s what’s happening now.

On Wednesday, the world’s richest man issued an ultimatum to workers to either stay or quit, and it’s interesting to see how many are choosing the latter over the former.
