Typically, Musk doesn’t talk much about the games he plays other than the fact that he likes them. But when a Twitter user asked Musk The Elden ring Advice on May 9, the billionaire stepped down by sharing some details of his character’s makeup.
Musk has had a busy month since then. It is unfocused
I’ll start by pointing out that if you’re having fun while playing The Elden ringthen your build is a good build. The Elden ring it’s a huge game with so much room for joyful experimentation that you can’t go wrong with any method of play. But unlike you or me, Musk is one of the most powerful figures in the world and he made his own The Elden ring constructed publicly and open to scrutiny. While I’m glad he seems to enjoy his embarrassing build, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it.
Musk initially said that he uses an “Int/Dex build, so mostly mage with some weapon skills”, and he holds his “shield in his left hand, staff in his right with quick-switch drill and claw”. Piling most of your points into leveling up Intelligence and Dexterity, or going after an Int/Dex build, is a common and useful approach to creating great magical characters. Dexterity gives casting speed a small boost The Elden ring as Dexterity scale weapons tend to be on the lighter side (ideal, since wizards are probably putting points in Intelligence over Endurance which increases the loadout of the gear), and there are many weapons that degree with skill and intelligence to choose.
His May 24th tweet reveals that he packs Lusat’s Glintstone Staff (a magic channel that scales with strength and intelligence), Rogier’s Rapier (a thrusting sword that scales with strength and dexterity), and the Moonveil Katana (a signature weapon for players which level intelligence and dexterity) in the left hand. This is a fairly standard weapon spread for an Int/Dex build character, although equipping two physical weapons is perhaps unconventional. I think he scratched his claws.
On the other hand, Musk wears the Brass Shield, a rather unremarkable shield that requires at least 16 points in strength, and the Carian Knight Shield, which requires 10 points in strength and 15 in intelligence. I assume Musk thinks he needs two shields, one for physical attacks and one for magic, but the Carian Knight’s Shield is slightly better at blocking magic than the Brass Shield, and it’s just as good at blocking physical attacks. He just has to use it.
Wizard characters also usually don’t need shields because they launch spells from a safe distance, and if Musk didn’t equip a shield and a sword, he’d be able to perform nimble spins and wouldn’t need to it blocked so much.
Keeping at least A the weapon is ideal when Flask of Cerulean Tears’ FP-recharge drains, but if your main stat is intelligence, you should use magic as your main weapon. It is the strongest tool in your arsenal and will deal the most damage.
Then, when choosing a secondary weapon for times when magic is out of reach, it’s preferable to choose one that scales with your high intelligence, but you can use whatever you’ll commit to to maximize her strength through the stones. blacksmith
But Musk’s stats are… interesting. His health bar is quite low for a level 111 character, and his intelligence and mind are both pushed beyond the point of declining return, or have hit “soft caps”. His Strength and Dexterity levels are okay at 16 and 25 respectively, but again low for using Rogier’s Rapier over the Moonveil Katana as his secondary weapon. If you put all your points into intelligence, use an intelligence scaling weapon.

In his May 24 update, Musk reiterated that “its payload will be lower if fast rotation is needed.” I’ve been sitting here for almost a month trying to think of a time when someone would need to change armor mid-battle for the express purpose of rolling, but I can’t. But you can also adjust your armor to best protect you in certain terrains or during specific fights, such as equipping a poison-resistant hat when fiendish plants fart you. Overloading gear and making your character “heavy”, however, leads to ineffective, sleepy rolls or dodging, something you want to avoid in fights where every move counts (most of them). Changing armor just to roll is another time sink. Do not do it.
Swapping talismans is a less open affair, and doing so may even land you an unexpected favorite. That said, it’s absolutely not a requirement if you have a collection that already works for you. After all, damage output, stats and ease of movement will guarantee your success – talismans are just splashes.

Lots of small hits in a row to damage the stack is important.
I’m not entirely sure what Musk means by this. All damage stacks The Elden ring, but the amount of damage dealt will be affected by the damage resistance of a specific enemy. As far as I’m aware, there’s no situation that calls for “many small hits in a row” on top of, say, HP-destroying critical attacks like backstabs or just regular well-timed attacks.
He can refer to it Talisman with two blades, which makes the final attack more powerful in a chain of hits, but I don’t know. Or maybe The sign of the winged sword, which slightly increases damage if you land hits often and fast enough. Do you know? Musk is currently using Skeletal Militiaman Ashes, Marionette Soldier Ashes, and Banished Knight Oleg Ashes, though I recommend Imitate the grace of tears you can find it in Nokron, the Eternal City. This grace summon requires HP not FP, which is useful for mage characters looking to conserve Cerulean Tears and anyone with very little FP, and reflects your character, making it as powerful a summon as you are a player.
Besides, I know a lot of people find Musk inspiring, but when it comes to your own development The Elden ring built, you may want to avoid linking.
The obsessive, goal-obsessed mindset of a billionaire is useful in tricking yourself into believing that rich people deserve their wealth because they want everyone sleeps under their desks like human snails, but in The Elden ring, social mobility is actually possible. Your character comes from nothing – no health, no family, no daughter, nothing – and destroys only one empire. It’s incredible, and if Musk’s freaking wizard build is any indication, a billionaire couldn’t survive it.
