New Zealand have lost the top spot in the ICC One Day International team rankings after their second consecutive loss in the three-match One Day International series against Australia.
As a result, England, who had lost their place to New Zealand in May last year, have regained their place at the top of the rankings table. They currently have a rating of 119 with New Zealand on 117 slipping into second place.
New Zealand can move to 119 ratings if they win Sunday’s third and final One Day International in Cairns, Australia, but will still be second.
There has been no further movement in the rankings. India, Pakistan and Australia are ranked third, fourth and fifth respectively.
