The city of Rome invites you to End of Summer Carnival takes place on Wednesday, August 17 at Franklin Field in Rome. The city promises to be a fun-filled day:
Starting in the afternoon, we’ll be hosting a free End of Summer Carnival from 3-7 p.m. There will be inflatables, a dunk tank, sweet treats, music and magic!
The fun doesn’t end there. Starting at 7:30 p.m., the Rome Lions Club will host a free Jungle Book read-along with the movie to follow after dark. If you’re looking for food during the event, Rome’s Arizona Tacos will serve food for purchase to enjoy at the movie.

An exciting new bookstore for children is now open in Rome
You and your children will have more opportunities for books in the city of Rome in New York. Circle Time Books and More is now open for business.
They are located at 401 North James Street in Rome. According to their website, their hours of operation are currently Tuesday through Friday 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, and they are closed on Sunday and Monday.
