The event is a family fun charity event and will be held in the heart of Oswestry Town, at the award-winning Cae Glas Park.
It is being held in aid of Nightingale House Hospice and in association with Oswestry Town Council, Spirit Operations and supported by Oswestry BID.

Although admission to the park is free, there will be a hand system at the entrance. There will also be an optional donation of £1 to Nightingale House Hospice.
Free service is provided on bus lines 400, 402, 403 and 404.
A park and ride service will also be available: Parking will be £5 per car and £2 per person aged 12+ as a foot passenger from Oswestry Live Stock Market

Weather permitting, there will be a mass balloon release at 6am and 6pm each day. In previous years, the highlight for spectators has been the Saturday night glow at 9pm. Balloons light up and blow up while music plays in the park.
There will also be a full program of entertainment in the park with music, cheerleaders, dancing, BMX and gymnastics displays and an owl and alpaca display as well as market stalls. The Oswestry-based Rainbow Hot Air Balloon Team is being sponsored by the Meadows Osteopathic Clinic.
