Summer Concerts at Cherry Hill Park. The 2022 Summer Concerts in the Park Series, hosted by the Falls Church Village Preservation and Improvement Society (VPIS) and the Falls Church Parks and Recreation Department, returns for its 30th year of local musical entertainment. Guests have heard a variety of regional artists – ranging from genres from blues to rock to Latin – every week starting at 7:00 pm at Cherry Hill Park (312 Park Ave, Falls Church) and now, for the final performance of the summer, attendees will get the chance to experience Big Howdy, a band specializing in bluegrass music. Presented by NOVA Nightsky Community Theatre, “As You Like It” by William Shakespeare, a tangled tale of love, lust and mistaken identity, will be performed Thursday, August 4 – Saturday, August 6, beginning at 7 p.m.: 30 with three more consecutive performances.
