Family fun at 10th edition of Hero CPL

The 10th edition of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) will feature a more family-oriented atmosphere for the early matches.

The CPL announced on Monday that to celebrate the 10th season of the tournament, the 10am matches would be a celebration for children and their families.

The league announced that on all SKYTECH 6IXTY and Massy Women’s CPL game days, the 10am tickets will include family-oriented activities such as face painting, sweets, children’s entertainers and live music and dancing.

Sponsors would also provide items at matches in Trinidad and Tobago, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia and Guyana.

The CPL announced that children who celebrate their 10th birthday at home matches will have an in-game party.

A CPL media release stated that the birthday boy or girl can bring four friends to the match and each will be given a CPL goody bag.

“We are very excited to be bringing fans back to the ground for 2022 and it is very important to us to give families a chance to enjoy the biggest celebration in sport,” said Chris Watson, Chief Marketing Officer of Hero CPL.

“These activities combined with world-class cricket at a very affordable price make these games a great chance to bring the whole family to the CPL, WCPL and The 6IXTY,” Watson added.

Hero CPL 2022 takes place from August 30 to September 30, while Massy WCPL takes place from August 31 to September 4 in St Kitts and Nevis.
