On the date that marks 15 days for the biggest and best edition of Rock in Rio ever, the festival announces another strong line-up of attractions for the Sunset Stage and Espaço Favela. On September 4, Emicida’s concert at Sunset will feature great discoveries of Brazilian music among the guests: Drik Barbosa, Henrique Vieira, Priscilla Alcântara and Rael will sing alongside the rapper. On the 10th, irreverent samba artist Jorge Aragão will be on stage for unforgettable dates at Cidade do Rock with the Gilsons trio. On the same date, Espaço Favela will provide an iconic moment between two sambas and the largest shrine in Brazil: Thiaguinho is the great guest of Ferrugem, the ambassador of the space.

One of the most anticipated performances of the festival, rapper Emicida brings a version of his show “AmarElo”, created exclusively for the Sunset Stage, calling a strong team to sing by his side on September 4. Rael, one of the country’s leading names in hip-hop, has been confirmed to join Emicida in what will be a historic moment for fans. Another guest is Drik Barbosa, one of today’s greatest rap singers, who will make a presentation full of energy and power for the public. Adding to the team, Priscilla Alcântara, who will headline the Supernova stage on September 11, also joins Emicida and promises to influence everyone with the strength of her incredible voice. Closing the guest team of Emicida, Henrique Vieira, who will move everyone with the power of his lyrics, songs and poetry, always about love.
On September 10, Palco Sunset will receive another unprecedented and exclusive partnership offered by the world’s largest music and entertainment festival. Brazilian singer, songwriter and well-known samba legend Jorge Aragão is the special guest of the already announced presentation of the Gilsons trio, formed by Fran, João and José, respectively the grandsons and son of Gilberto Gil. Together, the artists will give an exciting performance, full of hits, that will delight everyone present.
On the same day, September 10, Espaço Favela will host another historic show: two of the biggest names in Brazilian samba and shrine today will come together for a performance that will remain unforgettable. The singer Ferrugem, great ambassador of Espaço Favela, will welcome on stage an honored guest and his great friend: the singer Thiaguinho, who also debuts at Rock in Rio. Born in Presidente Prudente, São Paulo, Thiaguinho is a rhythmic phenomenon and is successful throughout Brazil with songs from his iconic albums “Hey, Mundo”, “Vibe”, “Tardezinha”, “Infinito”, among others . Alongside Ferrugem, the two artists will give an unprecedented show that will thrill the entire audience.
