Thus, this year 22 candidates from several Brazilian states compete for the title of the competition promoted by him.
So first of all, meet the contestants: Paloma Santos (RJ), Zana Coutinho (RJ), Sandra Regina Costa (RJ), Palloma Cristina (SP), Amanda Nunes (MG), Jaqueline Jeanelli (MG), Jessica Lacerda Paes ( MG), Sarah Priscilla (MG), Magda Souza (ES), Aynah Mattos (CE), Yana Lobo (CE), Babi Luz (PE), Mariana Donato (PE), Michelly Miguel (PE), Giovanna Girardi (RS ) , Marina Fontana (RS), Tais Da Silva (RS), Jenacelis Berto (RN), Alaide Lima (RN), Juliana Petry (MT), Letícia Cucolotto (MT) and Tainá de Andrade (MT).
The competition brings the categories: Curvy (mannequin 40 to 44); Plus (dummy 46 to 54), G+ (dummy over 56); Masters (women over 40). Four winners will be presented on the stage of Teatro Rival Refit, one per category.
For this presentation, the competition has a team of judges, including: Wilson Neto (Rei Momo), Stella Miranda (actress and director), Lucio Emílio Jr (sponsor Sincateva), Samara Rios (drag and culture presenter), Dudu Glamor (columnist and digital influencer), Ava Simões (Miss Brasil Gay, Miss Trans Star and dentist).
That is, each champion will win a cash prize of R$ 1,000.00 (One thousand Reais) provided by the financial prize supporters “As Senhoras do Calendar” and ABRAS-Rio.
Miss Plus Size Senior
The event held on November 8 at the Rival Refit Theater will also award the National Miss Plus Size Master, i.e. a plus size woman over 40 years old. Last year, the winner was Carla Araújo, 42, from Rio de Janeiro, a caregiver for the elderly who entered the Plus Size beauty universe after being discovered at Carnival by Bloco Alegria da República.
However, Eduardo Araúju says it is difficult to bring candidates from Brazil to Rio de Janeiro because of the ticket prices and their stay in Rio. A clear indication that partnerships in this sense can benefit even more women to overcome such important self-esteem and armored empowerment.
“In spite of everything, with a lot of determination and support from the regional coordinators, we formed a group of national producers where everyone is responsible for the production of the event. I believe it is the first national competition with a qualified team and with expertise to add to it. There are 22 candidates with the conviction that the victory of one is the victory of all, because they know that the final objective is to draw attention to plus women”, says the creator of the contest.

First of all, there are countless cases of women who do not accept their bodies, who have low self-esteem and lack of self-confidence. After all, many of them have a distorted view of their beauty and, as a result, are never satisfied with what they see in the mirror.
According to Eduardo Araúju, the purpose of the event is to highlight the freedom to be true and encourage them to find their purpose in life through an immersion in self-knowledge, beauty and entrepreneurship, as many leave the competition with a vision of expand them. the potentials.

The parade at the Rival Refit Theater will have special attractions
The Miss Plus Size National Pageant is a reference to women’s empowerment and to celebrate, the event at the Rival Refit Theater will feature a special line-up with a parade of Calendar Ladies, a tribute to the beauty of mature women; the accolade of Miss Brasil Maturidade in recognition of a woman who distinguished herself in 2022 in activities related to beauty and well-being.
The party will liven up with a show by the singer Aline Ramos and her eclectic repertoire full of hits loved by the public.
Completing the list of performances, the show “Elas Arrasam” enters the stage, in which famous drag queens play famous divas.
