Hundreds of people took to the streets in Flushing recently for the annual carnival, which had not been held since 2019.

The Flushing Carnival took place on Saturday, July 30 as part of Flushing Regatta Week.

Hundreds took to the streets of Flushing all dressed in colorful outfits and crazy fancy dresses.

Judging took place at 6.30pm before the Grand Carnival Procession through Flushing Village at 7pm.

Community servant Betty Stoggs made an appearance with a team of supporters for Children’s Hospice South West and even had dinosaurs spotted in the crowds.
