St. Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) personnel assessed, stabilized and transported four youths between the ages of 6 and seventeen to the Gros Islet Polyclinic after a two-vehicle crash in Massade, Gros Islet.
SLFS spokeswoman Stacy Joseph revealed that around 3:45 pm Wednesday, the Gros Islet Fire Station responded after receiving a distress call.
Joseph said responders found the four youths, all occupants of one of the vehicles involved in the crash, sitting on the side of the road.
“They suffered various injuries, but all complained of pain in the head and neck,” said the SLFS Communication Officer.

According to Joseph, the two drivers and others involved said they were unharmed and had no complaints.
