The Gillingham FC Tickets account updates Gills fans on access to games.

But as the Twitter account tried to give supporters the latest ticket information on their Papa John’s Trophy clash with League 1 Charlton, they somehow managed to make a strange mistake.

Instead of tweeting to all their followers, Gillingham FC tickets responded to a tweet.

And the post they responded to was of a woman wearing a tight top with her nipples visible – and proudly mentioning that she doesn’t wear a bra.

The women’s tweet read: “No bra still hot mom?”

The unintentionally funny reply from the Gillingham account read: “Collections can be on Wednesday night from the Charlton ticket office, just outside the end-of-journey rolls.”

The strange exchange left footy fans in stitches.

A fan drew attention to the tweet as he wrote: “What the f*** ahahahahahaha”.

Other fans followed with a series of laughing emojis.

The embarrassing exit from the Twitter admin reflected Gillingham’s ill fortune on the pitch this season.

The recently relegated League 2 side have been in dire form at the start of the season, with the club failing to score in their last five games in all competitions.

They have also lost three of their last four league games.

Their only win this season so far came against winless Rochdale, who have already sacked their manager.
