Ginuwine isn’t fazed by trolls making fun of his latest dance moves online. The 90s R&B singer actually revealed that the latest jokes about his dance moves give him new motivation.
On Friday, he shared a lengthy post saying he’s turning the troll’s attention into cold hard cash.
The R&B icon recently became the subject of memes and jokes after a video of him performing went viral. The singer could be seen performing a sexy dance, but some people felt that he was no longer thin and light, and the dance move did not look good.
One person even went so far as to compare the artist to the Family Guy character Quagmire. However, according to Ginuwine, he is not bothered by the comments of rude people online.
“I was shooting TV stuff in Vegas that you’ll see in October (secret) But I couldn’t answer a lot of this cyber stuff online,” Ginuwine wrote in a lengthy Instagram response. “The phone was ringing, blogs were calling, friends were calling, WOW.”
The artist said he is grateful for the attention he is getting despite thinking he was not like other artists these days.
“And for those who know me you already know I’m defiant as f**k so letsgetit!!!!” Ginuwine added. “I see I need to stop calling myself first man lol I didn’t know I was newsworthy yet; Funny or not, my friends always tell me that you don’t understand who you are G. Wow!!! Ok now yeah, so it’s on. Really thanks to everyone.”
