“There is always a but, life is made up of stories”
actor Giuseppe Oristanio celebrated the 50th anniversary of his career, releasing a book about his trajectory and is already preparing, in the theater, a monologue to portray the last years of the writer’s life. Guimaraes Rosa.
This will be the first monologue he will do on a theater stage, “Absence Details”for the last years of the great writer’s life.
The premiere is scheduled for October 2, in Rio de Janeiro.
“There is always a However, life consists of stories”, Editora Filos, is a book of stories in the form of a conversation, as if the author and his potential readers were talking. Little book to have fun like having a coffee with friends, saying “history”.
The work was written with an open heart and fingers sharpened to the truth. But since even truth is relative, Giuseppe Oristanio prefers to refer only to his own truth. And this, according to him, is already a hell of a job, … lol (laughs).
The book talks about several episodes that happened throughout his life and 50 years of his career already completed in 2022. It has stories behind the scenes and dressing rooms of theater and TV, friendships, lessons, some emotions, successes and failures of someone who considers himself, like everyone else, just a worker.
The work is a declaration of love for the acting profession.
Among the disasters, adventures, difficulties and joys, the author considers the partial positive balance.
Anticipating much of the coming years, Giuseppe Oristanio defines the book thus:
“It’s a love book. This is enough for me”.
The book was released at the São Paulo Biennale on July 8 and attracted many people. The launch of Rio took place on August 15 at the Teatro dos Quatro, in Shopping da Gávea.
